Peace Force is a concept for an organization currently under development that will be active in humanitarian relief and emergencies.
The long-term goal of the group is to become an alternative to military service for citizens of any country, and supported as such by governments.
The Peace Force will aim to incorporate only a limited number of aspects of traditional military units:
+ The opportunity to apply to volunteer with base pay
+ 'Tough' expectations for personnel to endure hardship and demanding conditions
+ A rank and structure that enables efficient command, action and career opportunities
The Peace Force will only engage in humanitarian and unarmed peacekeeping support activities.
The Peace Force is being created by an ex-military person who has wished to apply the strengths of the military structure, the benefits of military service, and just any fraction of military budgets towards humanitarian activities.
